Profile

This Profile page allows the user to view profile information and/or make modifications to his/her account.

The Profile page has six elements for the user to view, from which four elements can be modified as per user request.

• Full Name: The full name of the user. If you desire to make changes to the name, click the edit button against the full name.
• User Id: This is the user id which is assigned to the user when their account is created, no changes can be made to your user id.
• MFA: User has the choice to enable Multi Factor Authentication to strengthen the security of their account and data. Please check the documentation on How to setup MFA
• Current Role: This the role that is attached to the user currently.
• Default Role: If a user has two or more roles attached to their profile, the default role for the user can be changed. To change your default role, click the edit button and choose your new default role.
• Alert Preferences : As the user makes changes to datasets, notebooks, or to other services of Amorphic, it is advised to subscribe to email notifications, allowing the user to have full visibility over the resources they own. Please follow given instructions(after System Alerts section) for email subscription.
• System Alerts : This alert is different from Alert Preferences.

  System Alerts option is visible/available only for Admins & not for regular users.

  It is used to monitor the health of squid proxy & rotation of salt encryption key, and alert Admins via email if anything went wrong. It is advised for Admins to subscribe to system alerts, allowing them to take necessary action(mentioned in email) as soon as they receive notifications. Please follow below instructions for email subscription.

As a new User/Admin, Alert Preferences/System Alerts will show that you are Not Subscribed to email notifications. By clicking the green Subscribe button, an email with a verification link will be sent to the email address assigned to your account.

If the email is sent successfully, the status of Alert Preferences/System Alerts will change to Email Verification Pending. If you don't receive the email, you can click Resent Subscription Email button to receive another verification email.

When you click the verification link given in the email address, the status of Alert Preferences/System Alerts will change to Subscribed as show in the image below.

User can unsubscribe from Email Notifications using the Unsubscribe button.
